If I got to choose someone to go on to the finals, I would pick:
Danny Gokey
He teaches music, need I say more. He just has an incredible voice. He is my favorite so far this season. He gave such a great rendition of 'Hero.' Love him!
I also liked Alexis and Brent. They did a great job. I was kind of surprised at how terrible most of them did. It had a lot to do with song choice, like the judges said. Tonight, Zach told me I was turning into Simon. Kyrie informed him that I've always been Simon. I do agree with Simon most of the time. Season 8 is off to a fun start.

My biggest complaint about this season, and probably all seasons I just don't have a long enough memory, is that they focus on all the wrong people during the selection process. Danny's story did come out and I'm sure that along with his singing last night that he will be ok! I'm just tired of all the drama people- it's wearing!

I totally agree! There were a few that did alright, but for the most part, I was not impressed! If I had my pick Danny Gokey would win! I love his story and his voice!
