Where's Halle

I went to the best workshop for the last 3 days. The Arts Express workshop is put on through BYU and is about integrating arts into the classroom. I had classes on publishing student's writing, jazz history, media literacy, dance and media arts. We learned how to do some fun movie stuff and when I got home yesterday, Halle and I made this movie. She has watched it about 100 times already. Teachers- can you just think of the possibilities? Today, each of my kids made a clay-mation video. Once they are totally finished, I will post them too. Believe it or not, the media arts class wasn't even my favorite, the dance class from Marilyn Berrett was. She has so much energy and so many great ideas. If some of you my school want to go next year, talk to me and maybe we could pay for it with music money!

FUN! I'm so jealous, I wish I could have gone. However, I did love attending Core Academy!

Plan on me for next year though! :)

How darling!! I love Halle's outfit too. You are so good at going to workshops...no wonder you are such an amazing teacher. Oh and by the by, I got the scoop on the music teacher at my school and apparently he is horrible and does nothing with the kids. How sad is that? Maybe you'll have to come give a workshop at my school!

If only I were still at Pony I could go to the workshop with you. It would have been super fun.
